Dear Pacific Baptist Family,

God has been good to us, and we are thankful that He is always in control! We also believe that prayer truly makes a difference in needy times like these.

In light of the Coronavirus/COVID-19, we want to give a few updates regarding our church services.  There are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Pacific Baptist Church at this time. We are actively monitoring the virus situation in Los Angeles County, and Long Beach in particular. The governor and our local health officials have issued policy regarding public gatherings. These restrictions limit the number of attendees that should be gathered together. Due to this and other thought-through processes, we are taking measured steps at PBC:

1. All church services will be livestreamed only for the following three weeks. (Sunday, March 15; Sunday, March 22; and Sunday, March 29 as well as Thursday, March 19; Thursday, March 26). There will be no public gatherings at the church during those regular service times.

2. The livestream services will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Sundays and 7:00 p.m. on Thursdays.

3. There will be no Sunday school classes on those specific days.

4. Buses will not be run during those three Sundays.

5. We will not have our Easter door knocking for the next three weeks. However, you may stop by the church to pick up a stack of our Easter invitations. You may see Bro. Ray Pechardo for this.

6. We would like to encourage our members to continue to support our church by sending in their tithes and offerings online or via regular mail to the church office. You may also come by during the week to drop off your offering. If you choose to mail your tithe, please send it to the Pacific Baptist Church, (Attn: Finance Department) 3332 Magnolia Ave, Long Beach, CA 90806.

Please understand that these drastic measures are meant for the health and safety of our church family and the general public. We look forward to resuming our regularly-scheduled services when deemed appropriate. Our trust is in the Lord as we implement these policies over the next few weeks.
